Dog Love Foundation 501(c)3 main goal is to find furever homes for homeless dogs and cats.
Alabama has no spay neuter restrictions and this causes many unwanted and uncared for animals.
Adoption Fees Starting at $250
Dogs are first placed in foster homes to receive love and socialization and normalization training to prepare rescued dogs to become permanent members of a loving family in a furever home.
We believe in educating the community about responsible pet ownership and the importance of adopting. We will update the site with our outreach programs and events.
Yoshi's story is very sad, similar to many others in Gadsden, Alabama. Due to the lack of laws or enforced regulations on spaying/neutering, there is an overpopulation of unwanted puppies. Yoshi was left all alone to survive as a 5-week-old puppy. Fortunately, he was found by good samaritans; otherwise, he might not have survived.
Lola was starving to death and either was dumped or was able to thrive and find amazing people to rescue her. As you can see she is nothing but skin and bones and has had previous puppies.
We can truly help these animals by simply spaying and neutering them. Their babies die and may of moms die from malnutrion.
She had been with her foster family for several weeks now and thriving. Just look at the pictures from beginning to
now.
She is around 6/7 years old, and heartworm positive.
